A week ago I was determined to have a very low-key 4th of July. No big parties not endless days of preparing and cooking.
Here was the plan: Our friend Philip was going to be visiting for the weekend, so I figured we’d hang out go to some bars and maybe I’d make a little welcome dinner.
Then the next day I went to a friend’s house in Brooklyn for a BBQ – where I brought all the BBQ fixings and dessert. Insane right?
The good news is that it’s all over! And now I can rest and relax and prepare for my trip. More on that later along with some much over due recipes!
